We still can't believe it will be a year since HappyDoll's launch!
Looking back, 2011 has truly been a successful year and we owe it to all of our HappyDoll friends and families who have supported us through every step of the way. We could not have made it without YOU!
To express our gratitude for the successful year and celebrate the holiday season, HappyDoll hosted a holiday bash entitled SWEET SUCCESS at Bungalow 5 Showroom, a unique and stylish space in Chelsea featuring beautiful furnitures!
HappyDoll Tree adorned with our dolls waiting to travel...!
A special guest appearance was made from the newly opened chocolate factory and distillery in Brooklyn, Cacao Prieto, attributed for their spirits distilled from organic Dominican cacao! The guests tasted the creative and delicious chocolates and bonbons, as well as Cacao Prieto's signature drink, the cacao rum!
Some of our friends who worked with us this year shared their stories about HappyDoll:
Amy from Candelighters NYC
Peter, supporter of Cacao Prieto
Holly from Rutgers Presbyterian Church
Min from Hodori after school program at KAFSC
Tarah , our Haiti HappyDoll ambassador for KIDSUNA PROJECT
AK, our Tohoku HappyDoll ambassador for KIDSUNA, talks about the Fukushima wrapping paper which is designed using the children's drawings from Fukushima. All profit will benefit the Japan Quake Fukushima Children Relief.
More than 150 friends of our organization made it out for the event, and the night turned into a delightful evening full of laughter and love.
